Friday - August 12, 2011

Ella slept beautifully in her crib last night (9:30pm to 7:00am; 7:15am-8:15am).  After she was changed/fed, I put Ella down on our bed and she totally fell back to sleep - which was great because it allowed me to shower and get ready.

Ella's First District Convention - Let thy Kingdom Come (Day 1)
It felt like Ella was a rockstar and everyone wanted to get a glimpse of this baby with the awesome hair.  As I walked into the convention center, heads turned to see Ella.  I think I stopped every few feet to greet people who wanted to meet Ella.  A few people even took pictures of her and with her so that they can show their friends - how cute is that?  Overall, Ella survived the day with only one big cry and she behaved the rest of the time.

Evening Activities:  Mary and Dan came over for dinner - steak, mashed potatoes, salad and dessert.  YUM!  Though Ella wasn't in the best of moods - she was going on two days without a dirty diaper.  Toward the end of the evening (as Dan and Mary were getting ready to leave), Ella was finally able to let it all out and boy did she.  (It was massive. . . )  Gave Ella a bath & fed her and she went to bed happily.
