One may wonder, how do we bath Ella? Well, her bath time routine is different from her washing her hair routine (and Ella knows which one she is getting). We wash her hair only twice a week - typically on Sunday and Wednesday. However, she does get her bath time every night as part of her bed time routine.
We wash her body with soap in her sink and then allow her to play in the bath tub with warm no-soap water. After months of this routine, Ella now knows how to open and close the sink plug. Got it on video camera!

Ella loves bath time especially now that she knows she only gets her hair washed when she showers with me. She gets excited to see the bath tub get filled with water and doesn't mind spend 20 minutes splashing, kicking and laughing during her bath. Yesterday, she started to do more entertaining things for me to watch.

Have you ever heard of the "Asian Squat"? For those of you who aren't familiar with this term, the Asian squat is when you have both feet on the ground, butt touching ankles and knees spread wide. It's pretty hard to balance but Ella must have picked it up somehow and loves to do it.

For some strange reason, Ella was in a lovable mood this past week. I could not believe how sweet she was. It was as if she was over her stranger anxiety/shy self and her true social butterfly self was born. But it was short lived and she's back to herself now. . .
On Monday, she gave her daddy lots of love while he carried her on his shoulder.
