18 Month Portrait

Ella is officially 18 months today - October 22nd!  Can't believe she's officially a toddler.  We took her portraits this past Saturday at the park down our street - Emile Whitey Boisclair Park.  A special thanks to Mary for taking Ella's pictures, making her laugh and capturing her personality on camera.

15 Month Check Up

I can't believe Ella is already 15 months old and getting her next check up.  The nurse told me that most babies at 1 year of age will remember the 12 month check up because of the shot in the arm.  Oh boy did Ella remember the Doctor's office.  As we walked into the room she started to sign for finish, no, and point at the door to leave.  It as if she knew what was going to happen in the next few minutes.

As suspected, she screamed during her shots but recovered quickly after we left the room.  She's still growing and we can't wait to hear her talk!

15 Month Milestone:

Date: August 6, 2012

Weight:  23 Pounds (50%)

Measurement:  32 Inches (90%)
Head Circumference:  19 Inches (90%)

Time is flying by!

15 Month Portrait

Three months later and Ella's hair continues to amaze us - thick, long and full.  I can't believe how much she has grown these past three months - walking like an expert, starting to run, more baby signs, and wants to feed herself more.

Walking Milestone

As of this past Monday, June 4th, we can proudly announce that Ella has mastered walking - pausing, turns, standing up, squats, picking up objects and holding them while walking!

It's interesting to observe how excited she is to know that she can walk instead of crawling to get around.  As you makes a turn, picks up an object or simply pause - you can hear a small giggle from her as if she was proud of herself. We'll see if she'll be one of those kids that needs a backpack leash!

9 Month Marker - January 22, 2012

Can you believe it's already been 9 months? 

9 Month Photo:  We took her 9 month photos at Uncle Mike and Aunt Mayelle's new home.  Wasn't able to get her into the Chinese outfit but at least her Korean and Vietnamese outfits were a success.  ;)
