Saturday - October 1, 2011

Ella slept wonderfully last night.  Fell asleep about 10pm and woke up this morning about 6:25am.  After her morning diaper change and feeding, she chilled in her crib for almost 1.5 hours while I prepped the beans for tonight's dinner crawl party.

Morning Activities:  After the beans were in the crockpot, got everyone dressed and left for the service. Dexter was crying and he was bleeding on his bottom so we had to take him to the Vet this morning. Poor thing, his right anal gland ruptured ;(  Ella did good in the waiting room - she enjoyed watching the other pets come through and their owners.

Afternoon Activities:  We got home about 11am, just in time to feed Ella her rice cereal (2.5 tablespoons of rice cereal and 1.5 ounces of breastmilk.  She's getting really good at eating so I'm excited to introduce new foods next week!  Ella went down for a nap a little before 1pm and stayed asleep until I woke her up at 3:30pm to get her ready to go.


Evening Activities:  We set up a appreciate dinner for our Elders and made it into a dinner crawl ;)  Ella did great as we had lots to do this evening.  We dropped off the beans, and material at the Embrey's. We stole Samantha and took her with us to Malcolm's to help prep the first course.
