Little Me

"Be careful of what you do in front of any child as they tend to learn by example" - this includes cleaning, how you clean your face, what you use spoons for, and so much more!  I have to watch how I do things as I have a little copy cat following me around.

I found E next to a puddle of water (she spilled her water) a few days ago. When I walked in I asked her to get a towel and clean up. She runs to the cabinet, grabs a towel, runs back, throws the towel on the floor and proceeds to wipe the water using her foot. I kid you not.

Other fun things we did at the end of this week - field service, story time at the downtown library with Claire, Genna the baby sitter, Fairytale Town and Zoo with the twins, and quality time with daddy.

Daily walk with Dex & Claire

E has found a new joy - taking the dogs for a short walk around the neighborhood. We have incorporated a new routine to our afternoon activities after they wake up from their naps. Usually we play, crafts, sing, or read but with the weather being nice around 4pm we take a few minutes to walk the dogs.

Pretty in Yellow

Yesterday was one of those days where I am utterly so happy to have a daughter and son. Getting them dressed for Memorial was so much fun I had to hold back the tears as time is going by too fast. I treasure every moment with my kids and ;HATE every second I am away from them. I want E to stay this age.

Sacramento Childrens Museum

E explored the Sacramento Children's Museum this morning with Claire and had a blast. We are a big fan and will be coming back often as a new member! With storytime on Tuesdays, baby yoga on Wednesdays and music class on Friday - what's not to love :D

Airways and playhouse:
This area has a train table, a unique airway device that pushes balls through an air vent, a child size play house with a kitchen, bed, and lots more.  We didn't even get to explore the farmer's market during this visit.

Baby Bloomers:
We love this area and will be coming back to let Liam enjoy this area more.  E played with Claire and Tien while Liam had breakfast.  Everything in here is age appropriate (3 and under) and you can't help but feel like all the toddlers are having a good time.  The next time we come I want to see E ride the horse.  ;)

Waterways:
Who loves the water? E and Claire do.  I really like how they have protective wear for all the kids so you don't feel bad if they splash around (because they will!).

Art Studio:
Crafts, paints and lots of children running around. With spring break on its way, tons of kids were making use of the museum and its activities.

Field Service Fun

We dedicate most Saturday mornings to field service and E loves it!  This past Saturday, she enjoyed her time with Gabriella, Isaac and Jack.  Can't believe how much she has grown socially.  I wonder if she'll be sad when the track work is done and she no longer has the opportunity to put tracks underneath door mats.

Granny Sheryl and Ailah

We spent our Friday morning hanging out with Ailah and Granny Sheryl. :) The West Sac Bounce house and Round Table is always a blast with our friends!  E had a good time playing with Liam in the ball area, going down the slide, climbing, and playing ball.  We love our play time together.

Kids learn how to play by watching other kids or people play.  Today, E learned to roll and lay on the balls.  A little boy came into the ball area and started to do all sorts of fun things (rolling, splashing, etc)...E watched intently and picked up on it quick!
